    Position Profile

    This opportunity is available in Dublin, Ireland.

    Purpose Statement

    Manages, coordinates and aligns the overall Tech Ops governance processes ensuring alignment of Roles and responsibilities and appropriate escalation processes are in place Drives and facilitates operations excellence program within the global Technical Operations function. Ensures coordination and alignment vertically and horizontally across organization to ensure seamless integration. Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure OPEX program success & manage program governance. Supports decision making of the Tech Ops Leadership Team by ensuring that the appropriate metrics are collected and available. Manages special projects/assignments related to Techs Ops Summits, Global meetings, communication, metrics and decision making.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manages the governance processes within Tech Ops to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maintained. Manages change while implementing improvement programs.
    • Coordinates process improvement programs across the various functions in within Tech Ops
    • Supports Process Excellence program through delivery of own project work, occasional facilitation of Kaizen Events and other Lean methodologies.
    • Supports engagement strategy, infrastructure and training program to engage employees in the Tech Ops OPEX program
    • Works with the OPEX functional leads to support project identification, prioritization and selection process.
    • Supports rollout of Tech Ops Process Excellence programs at sites/functions.
    • Develops strong working relationships with management at all levels and manages the communication process.
    • Facilitates meetings with management to review and examine project progress.
    • Identifies business opportunities through partnerships with other employees or organizations.
    • Participates in OPEX training sessions and is a champion for the application of the appropriate LEAN methodologies
    • Ensures that metrics are collected and communicated appropriately to support the Tech Ops Governance bodies & processes
    • Coordinates, aligns and monitors the process for generating high-level Tech ops and annual Goals and Objectives for the various functions.
    • Manages TOLT meetings, summits and off-sites, driving agenda/discussion topics, pre-meeting preparation and meeting logistics.

    Qualifications & Abilities

    • Third Level degree in relevant discipline
    • 7+ years’ experience of developing, evaluating and/or managing significant programs and or initiatives, preferably within the bio/pharmaceutical or High Tech industry.
    • 5 years’ experience working in a management/leadership or advisory role requiring  collaboration with executive and key operational groups
    • Progressive and proven track record of managing projects, preferably within a multi-national environment.
    • Extensive experience in Process Excellence & Lean methodology
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to effectively lead and participate on multi-disciplinary teams.
    • Must be willing to travel internationally (10-20%)
