    Position Profile

    Reporting to the Director, IT Compliance. In this role, this person will be responsible for leading compliance oversight activities for a new SAP S/4 HANA system implementation. Partnering with Jazz Cross Functional SME’s, Global Process Owners (GPOs) and external managed service provider(s) to ensure the solution and system controls are designed in compliance with SOx and other applicable financial and statutory regulations.  This person will be a core member of the project team as part of the SAP project during the one year implementation phase.

    Responsible for, but not limited to:

    • Definition and assessment of the IT system compliance function related to the SAP implementation.
    • Provide oversight for the design and implementation of GITC (General IT Controls) to meet audit objectives for all SAP modules implemented and related evidence to support Finance and IT compliance reviews.
    • Advise on the reporting of SOD (Segregation of Duties) activities and other implemented user roles and access controls from SAP GRC in support of meeting applicable SOX compliance objectives.
    • Design and document procedures surrounding the quarterly UAR (User Access Review) audit process.
    • Participate in the development and maintenance of procedures and working practices related to IT System controls, quarterly UAR (User Access Review) audit process, system administration and data Management activities
    • Ensure that application security standards are well integrated into systems, and proper security controls are designed into operational phase of the system.
    • Advise on SAP application security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures that are in alignment with the corporate strategic plan and support the project team during the implementation. 
    • Inform project management and senior leadership of overall compliance oversight and review status and communicate potential problems in a timely manner
    • Audit to detect deviations of established procedures, role mapping, unauthorized changes to the SAP security and report findings to management.
    • Work directly with business GPO’s and the wider Jazz Business Teams and external service providers to ensure compliance and productive working relationships.

    Professional Competencies:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.
    • 6+ years work experience in IT system validation, IT System security controls, IT SOX compliance and/or auditing with a strong background in IT controls.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience with SAP Security across various applications including but not limited to S/4 HANA, ECC, BW, MDG, Fiori, PI/PO, eWM, Solution Manager.
    • Experience in at least one full implementation/migration project in SAP preferably S/4HANA, with IT controls and system validation.
    • Experience of IT audits and functional experience using SAP GRC, and the user access module.
    • Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other compliance requirements that may impact SAP Security and experience developing security solutions that address Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
    • Technical knowledge of SAP landscapes and roadmaps.
    • Understanding of Pharmaceutical GxP regulations is an advantage
