    Position Profile

    This position is part of the Quality organisation within Technical Operations based in Dublin. The position supports the Global GXP Training programme development and provides learning solutions for Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This will cover GLP, GCP, GMP, GDP and GVP initial and ongoing training.


    • Develop the Global GxP Training programme to ensure training is in accordance with regulatory requirements and procedures and to ensure that the appropriate training is delivered
      • Analyse training needs through a comprehensive TNA review and systematically conduct TNAs thereafter
      • Develop and standardise the delivery of GxP Orientation training for all new employees across the Jazz Pharmaceuticals network
      • Develop and deliver the annual Refresher Training Program
      • Develop and deliver core GxP training courses for GLP, GCP, GMP, GDP and GVP
      • Liaise with external training consultants in the development/provision of training for our core Quality Systems and other courses as required
      • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure programmes are meeting overall business needs
    • Develop and manage innovative training solutions – eLearning, WebEx facilitation to support business objectives for the implementation of training courses
    • Participate in and/or lead projects to enhance compliance with training programs by Jazz
    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of training documentation, on the job training, Competency Based Training etc.
    • Define KPIs and develop metrics to assess the performance of the GxP Training Programme
    • Support departmental Training Coordinators in the generation and maintenance Training Matrices
    • Support the implementation of a management system for GxP training across all GxP roles and all locations. This system to include an approach to Training Needs Analysis (TNA), Training Planning, Tracking and Administration

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with all Global Jazz Pharmaceuticals teams in productive working relationships, internally & externally.
    • Assist with troubleshooting training compliance 
    • Partner with functional areas to ascertain training needs and to design/revise required training programs, courses and materials using adult learning principles
    • Support the continuous improvement of training and development programmes by keeping abreast of best practices and new trends and developments in the area of Training and Talent Management
    • Contribute to the continual development of best practice learning policies and practices

    Personal Competencies:

    • Appropriate professional qualification to degree level, ideally in Learning and Development or HR
    • 7+ years' experience in a Learning & Development/Training role, with 3 years of developing and implementing training programmes ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
    • Proven skills in programme facilitation and design (both classroom and e-learning) essential
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Proven skills as a learning business partner
    • Experience and track record in working in a fast-paced and complex working environment managing multiple priorities and competing demands.
    • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills (both spoken and written)
    • Strong influencer with high integrity
    • Strong programme management experience
    • Strong commercial and business experience
    • Team player with a strong focus on delivering to high standards
