    Position Profile

    Reporting to Executive Director, Quality this position is part of the global Quality Systems organisation within Technical Operations based in Dublin. The position manages the Global GXP Training and Learning Program and provides training solutions for Jazz Pharmaceuticals.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Develop and deliver the Global GXP Learning Strategy in collaboration with international function leaders across the business
    • Design and deliver GxP Orientation to new employees globally via Webex, eLearning modules or in person in the classroom
    • Keep abreast of regulatory requirements with respect to training and anticipate regulatory challenges or issues so that they are addressed proactively
    • Develop and coordinate the delivery of the annual Refresher Training program
    • Oversee the planning and development of the Global GxP Learning program  to ensure training is in accordance with regulatory requirements and business needs to ensure that the appropriate training is delivered
    • Plan, develop and manage innovative training solutions – e-learning, video, etc. in collaboration with Learning & Development and external providers to support business objectives and adult learning
    • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance training programs
    • Work as part of Quality Systems to continually improve systems through training and ensure that training for significant changes is appropriately rolled out e.g. Reliance modules training strategy
    • Contribute to Dept Strategic plans, manage the GXP training resourcing plan and budget
    • Liaise with external training consultants in the development/provision of training as required
    • Support Internal and External Manufacturing sites (CMO’s) with design and implementation of GXP Training Systems as required including provision of expertise, mentoring and oversight
    • Leading the organisation and cross-functional teams in complex training related business critical projects, including problem resolution and regulatory compliance
    • Ability to anticipate business challenges and solve unique and complex problems, which have broad business impact

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with all Global Jazz Pharmaceuticals teams in productive working relationships, internally & externally using business acumen to understand and deliver to their needs

    Personal Competencies:

    • Qualification to degree level in a Science discipline, a training qualification with knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles is desirable
    • Familiarity with traditional and modern training and adult learning methods, tools and techniques
    • Work experience in a Biotech/pharmaceutical/cGMP industrial environment
    • A true self starter, who works effectively on their own initiative and drives for results
    • Strong,  impactful leadership skills and an ability to influence without authority
    • Strong computer literacy, in particular Word, PowerPoint, Excel and eLearning tools
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, with a high customer service focus
    • Proven track record in delivery of training in a fast paced environment
    • Organised, with good planning, time management and prioritisation
    • Collaborative team player with effective team working skills, and the ability to work independently as required
    • Highly committed, demonstrating patience, enthusiasm and energetic approach to the role
    • Interested and curious with a flexible and adaptable attitude
