Position Profile

The Associate Director, Supply Chain, will be responsible for identifying, implementing, managing and contributing to supply chain and related projects

Responsibilities:

  • Leading supply chain colleagues, other functions and external partners on supply chain product, process and systems projects to ensure project and business objectives are achieved
  • Leading and supporting new product launch projects
  • Representing supply chain on cross-functional business projects
  • Monitoring and managing supply chain partner project performance
  • Ensuring project compliance with GxP, trade, financial and other regulations
  • Modelling technical, planning, communication, interpersonal, leading, judgment skills

Required:

  • Primary degree in supply chain, business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline
  • Master’s degree in a business or numerate discipline
  • > 10 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical supply chain with familiarity with orphan drug products, contract manufacturing and global new product introduction
  • Strong experience of initiating and successfully managing complex supply chain projects
  • High level of customer orientation and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence internal and external partners
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel globally up to 25%, as needed
